GG is back!

Although summer is coming to an end and it is slightly depressing ... one thing the keeps me going is all the new & old TV shows to hit the tube. One of my all time favs is back very soon ... Gossip Girl. Season premiere is on Monday September 13th 9/8c and I can assure you from Youtube spoilers that this season is full of suprises and drama ... just the way I like it. (On TV that is)

From gorgeous bangle bracelets to the coolest hand bags you can find ... I'm lovin it all! The key to adding an eye catching accessory that instantly pops, is to go "easy" on the rest of your outfit. Keep it simple and make that "it" accessory the focal point. Less is more! As seen in the photos here AnnaLynne loves to play with colour and you should too! Being the product/makeup junkie that I am ... I feel that it's always appropriate to share the good steals, deals and must haves. In particular, Smashbox cosmetics. Recently I purchased a few products from the stunner line and now I'm hooked. These 3 items are now in my "I simply cannot do without" category.

#1) Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
I have always heard so much about this product and I thought it was finally time to give it a shot! #2) Smashbox Limitless-Long Wear Lip Gloss with SPF 15
Lip gloss is my weakness and for anyone who knows me well ... you too are aware of this. I must have at least 20 different kinds in my trusty makeup kit. I like to think it's because I was always on the hunt for the "prefect one"! I can honestly say that the Limitless-Long Wear Gloss from Smashbox is my new number one. It has the perfect amount of "stick" and goes on quite sheer. I will not be replacing this one anytime soon.

#3) Smashbox Cream Eye Liner
When is comes to eye liners and shadows, I love to blend. Keep it natural looking and not too harsh. The Cream Eye Liner is perfect for this! Apply it along the lash line with a small angle brush for fuller looking lashes, OR try blending the cream with your finger tips to create a smokey, soft shadow. It can be used in so many ways and the best part, it stays! No annoying crease lines that you would get with a regular powder shadow/liner.
