Floss talk

For those of you who have ever had the pleasure of being around me while I eat (which isn't very pleasurable at all, and soon you will find out why)... you all know what my first move is after I complete a meal. Thats right, I whip out the floss instantly. (My apologies to my boyfriend, girlfriends ... family ... even strangers that have had to witness me doing this). I know there is always a restroom nearby ... but I did mention NOT pleasurable, right? However, ... and yes this is how I am justifying my rudeness .... at least I'm doing it! There are so many benefits to flossing and it literally takes 15 seconds of your time.

Did you know flossing can help with bad breath? Halitosis has been linked to having plaque and food build up between teeth and suprise surprise ... only flossing can help prevent this. Flossing also helps avert gum disease, cavities (tooth decay) and even stains. Coffee, tea and smoking are among the many things that gradually stain your teeth. Not only is the surface of your teeth being stained from the above, but between the teeth as well. So keep that smile of yours bright, fresh and healthy ... floss!
